Trump Linked Super PACs Reserve Nearly $138 Million for Midterm Republicans

The ten day reservation surge

President Donald Trump's political operation reserved nearly $138 million over the past ten days to help Republican midterm candidates, according to a New York Times accounting built from AdImpact ad reservations and Federal Election Commission records (New York Times, September 15, 2026). Three vehicles carry the load. No Going Back PAC Inc., a new super PAC the Times previously linked to MAGA Inc., booked more than $95 million in ads. Safety and Affordability PAC Inc., financially backed by MAGA Inc. according to two people familiar with the arrangement, booked about $27 million. MAGA Inc. itself booked about $9 million, so far only in the Texas Senate race (New York Times, September 15, 2026).

Add about $6.5 million in direct mail and about $80,000 in text messages and the combined slate approaches $138 million across roughly 50 general election races (New York Times, September 15, 2026). That is the spending receipt. It is not a finished seat. It is a dated reservation ledger sitting forty eight days before Election Day on November 3, 2026.

How the three groups carved the map

Safety and Affordability PAC has booked ads in 15 House races. No Going Back PAC has booked about two thirds of its reservations on Senate contests. MAGA Inc.'s disclosed $9 million reservation sits in Texas, where Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton faces Democrat James Talarico (New York Times, September 15, 2026; NPR earlier reporting on a $10 million Texas buy, September 6, 2026). The Times reports that the three groups overlap so far in only two House districts: New York's 17th and Michigan's 4th (New York Times, September 15, 2026).

CNBC's cut of No Going Back Senate spending, cited in secondary coverage, put nearly $6.7 million against Democrat Sherrod Brown in Ohio, about $3.8 million against Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, about $2.9 million against Roy Cooper in North Carolina, and about $1.8 million against Chris Pappas in New Hampshire (The Daily Beast summarizing CNBC and Times figures, September 16, 2026). The war chest that sat quiet until September

MAGA Inc. had amassed more than $400 million and drew criticism from some Republicans for waiting to spend on candidates (New York Times, September 15, 2026; POLITICO, July 21, 2026). Trump told reporters he planned to allocate roughly $400 million to $500 million to the midterms (NPR, September 6, 2026; Reuters, September 11, 2026).
